B4QR Volume 2, Issue 4 Out Now

The Autumn 2022 issue of the B4U-ACT Quarterly Review has just been released and is available here.

This issue concludes the second volume of B4QR, and includes short critical summaries of six studies published between July and November 2022. The issue also includes a response from Dr. Christian Joyal to a review featured in the Summer 2022 issue, as well as a reply from Editor-In-Chief Allen Bishop. The featured scholar in the “Meet The New Generation” section of this issue is Dr. Evelyn Thorne, a postdoctoral fellow at the Moore Center for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Minor-attracted people are being asked to participate in a new study, conducted by researchers at the Royal’s Institute of Mental Health Research at the University of Ottawa. The study aims to better understand stigma and its impact on those who are sexually attracted to children.

Participation involves completing an anonymous 45-minute survey, and people who are age 18 and older and identify as having at least some attraction to children 14 or younger are eligible to participate.

MAPs Wanted for Study on Attraction to Various Age Groups

B4U-ACT is supporting a new study conducted by Enya Levaque, a PhD candidate at the University of Ottawa. The study aims to validate a survey of sexual interests towards individuals of all age categories in the general population. You are eligible to participate in this study if you are at least 18 years old, and understand English or French.
Participation involves answering questions about your sociodemographic profile and personality, as well as rating pictures of individuals from different age categories, from infants to older adults, based on sexual appeal.
